We test before we wash
Testing the product on a hidden patch is a step we treat as necessary rather than optional.
Al Bashaer is a new district in north Jeddah on the Asfan ring road, with recently built villas, apartment buildings, rest houses and subdivisions still under construction. The district lies in east Jeddah's drier zone, where the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. Vacant plots and active construction lift coarse particles that creep under doors and settle on every surface overnight.
Floors in the new villas and apartments here are marble in the villas and ceramic in the flats, both scratched by coarse grit from construction if not swept before mopping. For the method itself, see what sofa and upholstery cleaning involves.
Al Bashaer is in east Jeddah furthest from the sea and closest to open ground and hills. The air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than coastal dust. It creeps under doors and settles on every surface overnight.
Subdivisions under construction and expansive vacant land lift coarse particles that scratch floors and furniture. This coarse grit does not come out with ordinary vacuuming.
Water from roof tanks leaves grey sediment deposits on basins and floors, and this sediment can affect fabrics and sofas if exposed to untreated water.
A new district in north Jeddah on the Asfan ring road with recently completed villas, apartment buildings and housing developments, subdivisions still under construction. Bounded by Al Furusiyah Road to the east, Taybah to the west and Al Falah to the south.
Al Bashaer fabrics need sensitive testing first because coarse particles may have deposited deep in the fibres.
Deep dry vacuuming is very important here because coarse particles will not come out with ordinary vacuuming.
Fabric washing must be strong enough to remove grit and sand without weakening the fibres.
Cushions need comprehensive vacuuming from both faces because coarse particles have deposited evenly in the foam.
Grit and sand stains need only dry vacuuming and washing, without special products typically.
Wet extraction and ventilation are necessary even in a dry environment to ensure no residual moisture causes mould.
Cotton, velvet, chenille and synthetics do not take the same heat or the same product.
Before any water.
An oil mark is not treated like a juice mark.
We wash with the method that suits the fabric.
The piece is left slightly damp, never wet.
We go over the pieces with you before leaving.
Al Bashaer sits on the Asfan Ring Road which connects it to Al Furusiyah Road on the east and Taybah on the west. Access via these main roads makes equipment delivery to the new villas and apartments straightforward.

The company employs more than forty cleaners, and we send a crew rather than an individual.
The washing and extraction machines are ours and travel with the crew.
If a piece needs reupholstering rather than washing, we say so.

The commitment is simple enough to be keepable: we do not leave until you have seen the result and given your view of it.
East Jeddah lies furthest from the sea and closest to the open ground and hills beyond the ring roads, so the air is drier and the dust is coarser and paler than on the coast. It comes in under doors and settles on every flat surface overnight, making sofas, mattresses and curtains the heaviest part of the routine. Floors are mostly ceramic tile in the apartment districts and marble in the villa areas, both scratched by grit that is mopped rather than swept. Roof tank water leaves a grey film of sediment in baths and basins.
We provide these in Al Bashaer too, and more than one can share a single visit.
