The list is agreed before the clock
We do not start the timer and improvise.

Historic Jeddah is the old heart of the city with four ancient quarters inside the historic walled city, mixed housing and traditional trade. Coral stone houses with timber latticework sit close together on narrow lanes. Floors are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework leaves rust marks in basins.
Rugs and curtains trap fine black dust from main roads fast, and smooth terrazzo floors are slippery and show every mark from combined grease and street dust. For the method itself, see the full cleaners by the hour page.
Traditional souqs around Al Balad and the main roads enclosing the old town release fine black dust daily. Shops below release cooking grease and food odours. Rugs and curtains trap this black dust and become heavy, needing washing more often than in quieter residential areas.
Terrazzo in these heritage homes is worn smooth from decades and very slippery. Black road dust mixed with cooking grease makes it hazardous. We sweep first, then mop with very careful movements and balanced products that do not increase slip risk.
Old kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy lime deposits from years of mineral water and no descaling. Brass and copper taps cannot tolerate harsh chemicals. We use gentle solvents that dissolve scale without scratching the patina or damaging the antique metal underneath.
The area is listed as UNESCO World Heritage and contains buildings from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries in the roshan timber and coral stone style, within the historic walled city containing four old quarters, mosques and traditional markets where housing and trade mix throughout.
We agree priorities first because the home is old and one area often needs focus more than others: some weeks the scale on taps, some weeks kitchen grease, some weeks just protecting floors and surfaces.
Black dust settles from top to bottom so we start with the highest surfaces: window sills, tops of cupboards and furniture edges where the finest dust collects first.
Kitchen connects to street odours and grease, so we pay special attention to the fan filter, window sills and cupboard tops where grease film settles fast and thickens.
Bathroom scale and old pipes mean we use products that dissolve deposits gently without scratching. Corners and around drains are where mould and odour lodge fastest.
Smooth terrazzo needs careful sweeping before any wet work because grit becomes treacherous when mopped. We use slow gentle strokes and check our footing constantly.
We walk through with you before leaving to confirm the areas chosen are complete and point out what next week might focus on based on dust and grease buildup patterns.
We walk the space with you and you tell us what matters.
We start with what you placed at the top.
Within each room we work from higher surfaces down to the floor, so dusting never falls onto a floor we have already done.
If something is taking longer than expected or a new priority appears, we tell you and adjust the order with you rather than deciding for you.
The rate is set before we start.
We go through the agreed list with you before leaving, and anything within it that was missed is put right before the team goes.
Historic Jeddah is framed by landmarks and old mosques: Al Shafii Mosque, Uthman ibn Affan Mosque, Souk Al Alawi and Souk Al Nada are all metres away. The flat sits in one of the four quarters or above a traditional shop, reached through narrow winding lanes with daily foot traffic from traders and visitors.
We do not start the timer and improvise.
The company runs a large crew, so a defined job can be finished faster with more hands in the same window when your list calls for it.
The materials and equipment come with the team.
If your list is really a deep clean or a specialised job, we say so instead of burning an hourly block on work it is not suited to.
Photographs from real jobs carried out by the crew.

The commitment is straightforward: an agreed list before we start, and no change to the work or the rate without your word.
Central Jeddah is the old heart of the city: Al Balad with its coral stone houses, and the dense apartment quarters around it with shops beneath the flats. Floors here are often terrazzo or older ceramic tile, worn smooth and easily stained by cooking grease that drifts up from the street. Older kitchens and bathrooms carry heavy scale on taps and around drains, and pipework in the older blocks leaves rust marks in basins. Rugs and curtains take on the fine black dust of the main roads, so they need washing more often than elsewhere.
We provide these in Historic Jeddah too, and more than one can share a single visit.
